What is this ugly thing?

At feeding time tonight this ugly thing emerged. We scooped it up with the turkey baster and put it in a cup to photograph.

What is it??? After looking in our books, we are leaning toward hair worm, but also considered medusa worm and spaghetti worm. We've never seen any of those in person, so if you know what it is, or even what it isn't please let us know so we can rule it out and decide whether this should be thrown back in the tank, moved to the sump, or thrown out with any others being hunted and destroyed.

The terebellids are surface deposit feeders, using their long tentacles to reach for food particles on the sediment. The extensive tentacles on the anterior end give this worm its name, and when the tentacles are seen snaking out over the surface of mud, they are unmistakable. Doesn't look like a spaghetti worm to me. Our Shimek marine invertebrates has something called a hair worm, which it seems to resemble. Either way, we are trying to confirm if it is a good thing and should go back into the tank or sump.

Anyone have any ideas?
