unidentified fish ,need a ident

Sgt Major Damselfish.....aka SATAN himself, with gills......good luck if you bought one ;)

maelv hit the nail on the head. Very common damsel that can actual be caught here at the coast. Can be nasty buggers.

Yeah I caught 5 tiny one's about 2 months ago. Four of the larger ones beat the smallest one to his grave. :cry_smile: Either that or the Sargassum Angler ate him :confused:.

That angler was about the size of a "dime" 2 months ago.... then BAM... this morning I see him on top of my calerpa about the size of a racket ball. I thought he got eaten by the peppermint shrimp long ago.

well I am using 4 and have 5 extra if anyone wants some tough fish. Their group behavior is interesting as well. Size 1/3"
