Sale at Wolf's Reef...

I don't know if this is the right place to post this, mods, please move it if it isn't.

I called Wolf's Reef asking about live rock and found they are having a sale right now for $1.99 a pound. I would REALLY like to take advantage of this, but I live in the panhandle. :at_wits_end: However, I am headed down to Fredricksburg within the next couple of weeks. If anyone could pick me up 45 pounds of this rock and bring it to Fredricksburg, I will be willing to pay for gas.

I suggest setting up a delivery point and pre-pay for the rock over the phone via credit card if theyll do that., I doubt youll find someone who will risk a no-show.

I could also paypal whoever agrees to do this for me. Rock+gas+delivery fee. I will make it worth your while. I don't know how long this sale will be going on, but I hope I can find someone to do this for me before it ends. I may even be able to pick up in Austin or San Antonio.

Is this the dry live rock they have? I think that's the regular price. Wolf Reef/Phenomenal Aquatics has great everyday prices on live rock.

You may want to send a private message to theedprado about your situation. He may be able to set up something where he could ship it to you fedex and since it's dry rock, he could send it regular delivery or 2nd day. That way you wouldn't have to worry about involving a 3rd party.

If not send me a pm. I work in Austin and San Antonio and may be able to meet you somewhere in Johnson City or Blanco, which isn't too far from Fredericksburg.

Price is for live or dry. We have about 1000 lbs live and 3000 lbs dry. The live is live, but the dry has a little better shape. The live is on sale for half price. I can not lower the price on the dry because of the rising cost of shipping thousands of pounds of rock. I would recomend a mixture of both. Sale will run through Monday the 23rd. We can take your credit card over the phone, but it is best to cherry pick your pieces if possible. If you can not make it in or have someone pick them out for you, we can hold them after payment over the phone. I can also ship the rock, but this usually runs 1-3 dollars a pound depending on shipping method. I will be out of town untill next Tuesday the 24th to pick out new corals for the store, but can ship it then if you would like. Feel free to contact Jennifer or Chris this week if you have any questions, as I may not be able to check my pms while out of town. I can also cherry pick other types of rock for you while in California, Tonga, Kalenii, Marshal Islands, etc. But the cost will be significantly higher, and they will come in 50 lb boxes.
