http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1356857 The tanks have cleared up since the pictures was taken.

Got some $15 electric orange/yellow ricordea. Got a rock with 2 red hairy mushrooms for $20. Damaged 3x3 acan for $10. Nice electric chalice/acan frags for $30. Big SPS frags for $10. I didn't want to touch the $300 or $400 acan.

Another frags heaven store: http://www.ichthythings.com/

Just trying to give ideas to your LFSs.

LOL, how much does ~50 PFO Solaris cost?

Nope, I didn't see that ebill portion until you quoted it. The store is a tall cavernous warehouse and it feels cool, with LCD TV playing sport, so the ebill is probably good for such a big place. They need to double door the entry way.

The PFO solaris are making the corals florescence brightly. The tank are low flow so customers can clearly see the color on the corals. They have a lot of high end, premium priced corals. Rose anemones are ranging from pink to metallic orange. All colors or zoo. No need to wait for the next shipment to come in b4 buying.

SPS are encrusted on the rocks and egg crates.

And could you imagine how much his bill would be if he / she were running MH as opposed to those Solaris???? I hear it is alot cheaper to run the solaris than MH....whew....

That's what the LED lights look like? Brighter that I thought, but the dancefloor colored lights reflecting on the water surface are distracting. Just my opinion.

Definitely a lot of thought and $$$ went into the store setup. I'm jealous.

That disco reflection is b/c of the camera.

Oops, sorry! I've never seen led's on a tank in person. Thought those were the individual color spectrums and didn't realize it was from the camera.

Is the store pricey on their dry goods and livestock, or about the same as everyone else?

Those are the lights from the LED's but they are reflecting off the top surface of the water....

I've been away from reefing for ~3 years so I don't really know if the prices are good or not. I spent about an hour looking for corals to buy instead, I know $10 corals on hand sized rocks is a good deal.

yup

Ok, so I'm not totally crazy. Those were the individual lights reflected on top of the water.

Thats the light pattern for the Solaris. I believe there are 3 different LED light spectrums in that pattern. From there, that pattern repeats depending on how long your fixture is.
