Okay, so I know it is just a TV show, but did they have to have him die? Terrible. Anybody with me on this one?

If I remember correctly, it was even sadder because Hank was in denial about his dad's eventual death right up until when he finally kicked the bucket.

Also, where was Didi and GH? Did they leave Cotton early in the episode or some other season? I've missed the last few seasons and only caught 3/4 of that episode.
