Need to get some macroalgae for my fuge, anywhere locally carry it? New to fuges, any reccommendations as to types & amount? It's a 75 gallon with 35 gallon sump with 130 lbs sand, 140lbs rock.

You'll probably want some cheatomorpha, but other than that, I don't know. I would be interested in what else to add as well.

I keep both Chaetomorpha AKA Chaeto and Halymenia macroalgae AKA dragon's breath in my refugium (http://www.reefs.org/hhfaq/algae/halymenia/view?searchterm=halymenia). The Chaeto is great for the bio load and grows quickly. I would make that your main macro but I also keep the dragon's breath growing in the refugium and take a few small pieces out from time to time to feed to the grazers. My tang loves it and the crabs snack on it too...I can't seem to keep it in the main display for more than a day or two when it's added :)

I have a sandwich bag full of Grape calurpa, and Cheato mix. mostly cheato. I am near Culebra and Cliffbrier, but I work near the Med center.

I think a mix would be better as some calurpas might grow and some may not. If you have extremely low nitrates like I do, Cheato will not grow at all (at least in my fuge it won't). A variety would be best. If you don't have any Grazers (Tangs, Rabbit Fish, Fox Face, Some Angel fish) then don't put any in your main tank. If you do, it will take over and you will have to constantly prune it back which can be a pain in the rump. HTH
