I hate Asterina starfish. I have hundreds maybe more and just don't trust them. I would like to add a harlequin to aid in removing the little stars. BUT.....I also have a Hoeven's wrasse. Any opinions on whether it would find the harlequin shrimp good lunch?

Any one with a harlequin they'd like to test out? JK

Have you seen the Asterina doing evil things?

Does your wrasse have a history of attacking shrimp? Harlequins are a bit timid, and pretty much defenseless - unless you try and steal a starfish from them! Mine are doing fine with a hawkfish.

I've seen them do evils things to SPS in other people's tanks and have read about the possibility of them damaging zoas, etc. I know there are many varieties; some good some bad. I doubt trust any of them.

I have never had a shrimp in the tank with the Hoeven's. Maybe I should test it out with an peppermint.
