Hello All!

I am at a crossroads with my tank. I am happy with the progress but am thinking about which direction to move. After some great advice from Erik on using kalk in my ATO return bucket I think I might even try some SPS. The Red Monti Cap that I have is doing very well and growing fast. So...I am opening my tank up to suggestions as too what I should add. I need more COLOR! I am currently thinking about adding some palau nepthea. Thank you for any suggestions that you might have.

Here is a slideshow of my tank:

Try some green slimer first. It grows like crazy and is very hardy. Alot of people try birdsnest, but for the life of me I can't get it to grow. If the red monti is growing fast, you should be fine trying out some harder stuff. As long as you are diligent about your water changes, and have sufficient lighting, you should be just fine.... Maybe a swwwweeeeeetttt encrusting monti or some tabling acro?

Thanks to everyone for the kind comments. Erik I'm gonna start lookin' for a green slimer. I've got a 250w 10k SE and 2 175w 14k SE and I'm going to add a couple of t5 atinics since my pc ballast blew. Someone mentioned lots of folks like VHO atinics...

Love the rock work as well! How about some clams in that open sand area?

you could do VHO + MH but heat would be the ultimate cost. T5s get warm in an enclosed area, but I bought a clip on fan from Walgreens and it dropped my temp 4 degrees.
