Ricordea group order - Arrived!

I just realized the meeting is this weekend and Stuart is shipping the rics out today for Sat delivery. I'm 99% sure I'll be attending the meeting so I could deliver to the meeting.

Any new orders need to be placed by 11:00 am cst. Basically one hour from now.


I'm checking interest at this point. I've found some very nice ricordeas at reasonable prices....average seems to be $20 per polyp and a group discount may be available.

I have a couple being delivered tomorrow and will let you know about the quality. The guy is super nice and fast with communications. He's expecting a shipment next Wednesday of another 100 polyps.

Shipment delivery would be to NW Austin. Let me know if you are interested and I'll talk with him about prices. Here's a sample of his stock:

Okie dokey, for a regular order we could split the shipping.

To make the group order discount, we'd need an order of 20 polyps. Then the price would be $17.50 per polyp, free shipping, and your (our) choice of polyps.

He mentioned he's expecting a bunch of "funky" :bigsmile: greens and a lot of the true blues.

He seems to be a very flexible guy, so I'm guessing he might discount an order of 10 or so. But, if we have enough folks to split regular shipping even the normal price is a good deal. It could just be Austin, but the prices for ricordea are crazy.....$40 - $50 a polyp and yumas are even more expensive :hypnotyized:

Okay, I just got an update.

I've asked him for pics of the new stock. I'm really, really pleased with the rics I ordered. They arrived in great shape even after the post office screwed up and the box took an extra day to arrive. The pink and the green I got are awesome. Nothing like I've seen in the stores.

I got a green last time and I was very happy with it :) And my pink started off pink but is going a bit orange in my tank, but it's still super bright. Everything changes color in my tank, lol.

If you want to come by this morning, that will be fine. I think we will be going to the meeting so an afternoon time won't work. It's just me and the kids going through the typical morning routine and I'm in PJs and loungewear, so as long as you aren't expecting fancy people, come on over!

And you should probably hurry. That blue of yours is unlike any blue in my tank and I really like it. I'd hate for it to get lost :innocent2:
