im just curious since its getting close to hurracane season, what would yall do with yall's tank if one is coming ( i doubt it will reach u guys in austin, but anyone near the coast, what would yall do?)? i live 20 minuits from the coast, so if a hurracane hits im screwed. i have no clue what i would do with my tank...

You pray it goes somewhere else.
No chance in moving big tanks.
Hope for the best and buy a back up generator......I have one.

yea i figured that... it would be quiet a hastle to move a larger one... i mean it would be hard to watch all my hard work and thousands of dallors go down the drain... along with my home...

we had a big scare with katrina.. it was heading straight for us, we would be in the eye of it, then it changed course/went north and hit lousianna

devastion....

Buy a cheap generator from Pep Boys. It will keep powerheads running.

Right on Bill. They main thing is to keep Oxygen in the water until the power returns. Air pumps and Power heads can do that for you. Most battery operated air pumps can last up to 3 days straight on 2 D cell batteries, but I'd change them out every 2 days to be safe.

These guys are cool to have for small power outages. They only come on when you lose power.
