Can anyone help me....I keep getting a bubble in my over flow tube, and it causes my sump to not take in enough water and starts putting bubbles in my tank.

That's been the culprit before on my j-tube.

External or internal sump pump? Checked for any restrictions that could impede flow?

Very possible that a larger pump will increase the amount of flow going through that tube and keep the bubbles from getting hung in there by pushing them through. Those tubes are always kind of a pain though.

thanks for the great advice, any suggestion on what size pump for an 80 gal tank.
