i have these pastie toob like things growing on my Rock. they have a hole in the center. sorry about bad pic but you get the idea. thanks for any help given.

Yup sponges I have them all over. They are great filtration. They have started to appear in different colors too. Blackish, bright green, yellow, and white like you have. They're generally in darker areas of my tank.

Yeah, mine are white too and in darker areas. My sump is loaded with them on the glass. The few snails I have bump them off from time to time.

hmm, not sure. in my tanks theyre only about an inch. in my biocube14 i have a lot of them..most likely due to having dirtier water than my 28. when i started dosing spongepower in my 28 they starting popping all over the place in my refugium

Its almost impossible to identify the sponges/sea squirts but they're almost all beneficial to reef systems as natural filtration
