I'll be needing more flow that the returns from the sump on the upcoming 215 gallon tank. Not really sure which method would work the best. Any suggestions are welcome. Right now, I have several Koralia 3's and a 4.

My vote? Wavebox. With a tank that size it would work nicely. Its cheap to run and will move a lot of water too! Add the Koralia's throughout the tank for spot flow, you sps should be happy.

Wavebox gets my vote. Or you could do the wavebox+wavysea :D

nice....not having owned anything but a wavebox for about a week now...LOL....I say wavebox also..

I have mine tuned in to almost a 1.5" wave....it's cool....and they seem fairly readily available (used) on Reef Central for sale forums...unless you want to fork out $600+

There are so many satisfied Tunze WaveBox owners\users that love it and recommend it. It really is one of the best inventions for our hobby. I bought one 3 months ago and will be putting it in to my main system very soon. I can't wait to see what it does.

Great choice! Nothing beats the wave action that the wavebox puts out

It also kind of depends on how your tank will be plumbed. For the Tunze you don't need any drain or return lines. For the Sea Swirl, you will need a return line from either your sump or closed loop to feed it. If it's from your drain line/sump, then that is not really adding extra current, it is simply giving some change in wave/flow action from what existing flow you have from your return pump. If it's going to be fed by a closed loop, then that means more holes drilled in your tank, more plumbing, another pump, etc. Also, the gph is restricted depending on the size of the Sea Swirl. I have used Sea Swirls on a few tanks and love them, but they are big/bulky and you have to account for them in your plumbing plan.
