Does anyone have experience w/a Tunze Stream 6101 pump on a 4 ft 90 gallon aquarium? I know you can dial down the flow rate. But, can you still use that feature when it's connected to the Tunze multi-controller?

Was thinking about using 2 of the 6101's w/the multicontroller but I didn't want to knock over my corals and clams w/a combined water flow of over 6000gph. Just picture Dorothy in Kansas when the tornado first hits.

Would the Tunze nano 6055 be a better bet for my tank? Can you use that model w/the multi controller?

Any help or first hand experience is appreciated.

Cory

I have a 6101 for my 24x24x24 60g cube. I bought a 6200 shroud for it, which will widen/shorten the flow pattern of the 6101.
You can dial both the 6055 and 6101 down and use with the multi controller

Very interesting. I've always been a big fan of Tunze products.

Now Im thinking about ditching my 6101 and picking up 2 nano waveboxes. I wonder if that would be enough flow?

With their prices...you may be better off with one full size wave-box Sean.....unless it is a really deep tank....

Roger and Bruce have always told me that the large wavebox is not suitable for any tank under 48". I guess Ill just have to see when these babies come out :D
