IMAX Event

Fellow Maastards,
It is my pleasure to announce that our Events Coordinator has made arrangements for a Maast event to view Discovery Channels Deep Blue on IMAX. We are still working on the details as far as date and time. It will more than likely be in the beginning of July just before the Bigbird PA Trip and BBQ. We have some of the important details ironed-out...the cost will be $10, which includes a drink and popcorn. As soon as we get the rest of the details worked-out we will post and start taking a head count and starting a pre-pay for the event.

Cheri has a lot of good ideas and some interesting events in the near future, so stay tuned...:applause:

Imax Event is scheduled for Saturday, July 12th @ 7:20pm.
Viewing of Deep Sea 3D.
Cost(s) will be $11.00 for Adults and $8.00 for Children ages 3-11.
(this will include popcorn/drink )
Would like to see a great MAAST turnout, looks like it will be a lot of fun.
Payment can be made through MAAST Paypal, treasurer@maast.org ,in advance, or can be mailed to MAAST, PO BOX 780582, SA Tx 78258. Please, if mailing payment, memo IMAX, so Sherri can keep monies received organized.
Cutoff for event will be 5 days prior to event. All money will need to be received prior to that day.

Yes, it is in San Antonio, 849 E Commerce, @ the River Center Mall. You can Park at the River Center Mall Parking Garage, with Validated Parking. Just bring your ticket to the Box Center, and they will Stamp it.
Also, there is not a limit on tickets. All is welcomed to come, this is a Family Event, we want everyone to enjoy.

I just took our son to a 3D Movie at the IMAX, at another location. I must say it was pretty cool, even with those big ugly blue glasses! Hope to see everyone there.....

It was great seeing all those who attended....funny how 3D can make you feel like a child again...caught myself reaching out trying to touch and a lot of oooohs & ahhhhs....it was great hearing the children in the crowd too. Really enjoyed it also. Thanks Cheri for putting it together.
