Canopy build...since Ace is too far

I am considering building a canopy for my tank on the advice of a few folks I met out at RCA yesterday...

Ace...the party of choice is a bit far...so I was thinking of doing it myself

Any tips before I get started?

I will measure twice..before I cut once.

Oceanic 125 long with VERY narrow stand.

Light materials, and consider anchoring to a wall. You'll have a bit more weight above center, and need to keep that VERY narrow stand stable.
