Well My brother-in-law and I and the wifes went to port A to catch different things. We caught all of the following, Pictures to follow. I did not get a pic of the squid though, yet, but 1 died.

300+ peppermint shrimp
2 - juvenile squid, 1 got eaten by peppermint shrimp on the way home :(
3 - Blennies
1 - Sargassum Anglerfish
1 - Baby Seahorse
many grass shrimp

Ill get some pics up of the Blennies and Angler and If the remaining squid does well, him too. I have a picture of the sea horse, and we let him go as I had no way to transport back safely.

I've been interested in doing this. How exactly do you catch them on the jetties and are you on the channel side or surf side?

There are 2 jetties in Port A. They run parallel to each other on either side of the ship channel that leads out to the gulf. One is only accessible by boat. The other one you can drive right up to. The easiest way to get there is to go across the ferries, to the beach and then make a left on the beach & you'll run into them eventually. If you miss them, your car just became part of the jetty.

Port Aransas is across a ship channel on the side of Corpus Christi. You have to take the car ferrie to get to Port A.

You don't always have to take the ferry to get to Port Aransas. There are 2 ways to get there and I rarely take the ferry.

I never did end up taking the pics because the Sargassum Angler died, the Squid died, but the blennies did make it.

Yeah those Molly Miller Blennies are almost indestructable.
