Do you have a washing machine connection in your apartment?

Go buy an adapter. Take the hose with you to HD and match it up. Easy as pie.

Please check for leaks before you start the unit up.
I lived on a 3rd floor apt and my drain line leaked all over the kitchen floor the first time I used the unit. Of course it leaked onto my downstairs neighbor's tv.
I told the maint. guy that I thought there was a problem w/the dishwasher and stashed all my aquarium supplies.

For apartments where folks don't want to permanantly mod any of the plumbing, faucet adapter kits (OK), inline undersink shut off supply valves (better) work well attaching the system to your plumbing.
You can run the waste water line directly into your sink when you make water.
Here's a pic of a faucet adapter - it comes with other adapters that should make it fit nearly any kitchen faucet.
