I saw these lights on Big Al's and was wondering if they were any good? I'm thinking about getting them for my tank and the price is just right. I have a FOWLR now but may branch out to sps, lps later. What do you think? Thanks

I have the freshwater version on my 29g freshwater planted tank. It doesn't state it on the product info on that website, but these are NO, not HO so I don't think they are really bright enough for corals. They would be ok for your FOWLR though.

Yeah if you look at the description they are only 21 watt, whearas HO is 39 watt

Ok thanks for the info!
I was wondering why they were so inexpensive. I thought there were only HO and VHO T-5's on the market. Good to know there are NO's too. I'm still learning. :)
