would yall think that 6 fish would be to many for a 75... i dont really like alot of fish because it makes it look unatural to me, but there are 6 fish that i love alot.(regaltang)*which i have already*(false perculas)*which i have two*(six lined wrasse)(mandarin)*and i just started a copepod octogonal 5 gal tank*(and a firefish). i only have three atm, which i listed. would yall say all those fish are too many for a 75? i have reserched them and they are good community fishes... but do yall see anything wrong with that mix?

1 neon cleaner goby
1 yellow headed sleeper goby
1 lawnmower blenny

Alright.... you have to look at each tank differently. Depending on the filtration, you could have alot or a little fish....
My list for my 75 is:
1X Green Target Mandarin
2X Lg Yellow tangs
2X 10" engineer gobies
1X foxface
1X cleaner wrasse
4X green chromis
1x bi-color angel
I think that's all. I have so much rock and sand that I don't run my skimmer during the day. I just recently changed my light schedule to 12 hour MH! :D

they're different shaped, add the other tang at night. As long as you acclimate correctly, you'll be good.

The only thing I recommend is that with your mandarin you hold off for a while. These need a mature tank with quite a bit of rockwork to cultivate copepods...as that is its main diet. If I am not mistaken your tank is relatively new.
The list doesn't look bad at all...but you can get a mandarin to eat frozen / pellet foods and it still could very well be starving itself because they graze on copepods all day long...

just some unsolicited advice...and the reason I haven't purchased one for my tank quite yet.

That's good. I hope he doesn't eat all the copepods! I would say that your good on the stocking list, especially if your skimmer is good.

"I have so much rock and sand that I don't run my skimmer during the day."

I really don't know the answer to this, but is it pointless to run a skimmer for more than 12 hours a day if your tank has lots of sand and rocks?

6 fish for a 75 is not much at all and should be considered as a low bio-load which is a good idea for a new tank.

It's not that it is pointless, but with so much biological filtration in place, I am trying to keep my water a little dirty, and my skimmer is louder than I like. I am fortunate to be in that position, and most tanks aren't overloaded with rock and sand.

There is nothing wrong with keeping your skimmer on all the time and is not pointless. Skimmers are not meant to be turned on and off daily as they take time to re-adjust evertyime they turn on. Siimply keep the collection cup clean as well as the flow steady and your skimmer will work more efficiently.

While I can agree with your comment I've also seen Eriks skimmer and he pulls gunk daily so I don't think his has much problem dialing in daily.

I don't have to dial in at all. Not even when it's clean. :) 1/4" daily...
