Hey J_G, what species of acropora is the yellow? I've got a lot of an acro that looks just like it (you saw it) and I've always wanted to identify it.

I dont know....i posted it on Reefcentral and no one knows. Thats why I named it JG yellow just so I could keep track of it. I had someone tell me I could send them a dead piece to houston and they would identify it for me.

Hmm, houston... I wonder if they are talking about the reef book author Eric Borneman, he at least at one point was a member of marshreef.

Let me know if you ever ID it and I'll do the same.

I still need to stop by sometime and get some SPS. need to make room first though, gotta chop some stuff up myself and frag it.

It looks similar to my yellow, with orange tips vermiculata.
