Did you mean 1 1/2" to 2x 3/4" reducing? I have never seen a wye with that config, but it may exist. Most wye's that I have seen have two inlets of the larger size, and one of the smaller. To get the other configuration as you had listed, use a 3/4" to 1/2" reducing tee with some 45deg adapters.

Yeah it can easily be made with reducing bushings and tee's but I don't think you will find the exact wye in question.
BTW Savko is an awesome site. Best place to buy true union ball valves dirt cheap.

Just remember, 3/4 + 3/4 in plumbing does NOT = 1-1/2.
1.5 squared = 2.25
3/4 squared = .56.
That means a 1-1/2 carries over 4X the flow that each 3/4" carries (without friction, which makes it an even BIGGER difference). 1" on the other hand, is closer.

thanks... well i have overkill as a pump, a reeflo snapper, which cranks down, was going to put in a gate to reduce flow with... do you think i'll have problems? unf the hydor flos fit 3/4"... the plan is to have 2 coming out of the front of a diy rock tree, hence reducing the need for powerheads (its a 25g cube) and having good water flow... just trying to do something different... any other suggestions as to what i could use instead of the hydo flos?

Sheesh turning the tank over 100X is nice wouldn't have to worry about stirring anything up. :) Have you thought about a return manifold to utilize the pump more versus the hydors?

another place to check for some specialty fitting is http://pvcfittings.com/. They have a 1 1/2" to 2x 1" wye that may work for you.

thanks guys... the tank is a rimless cube, so id be worried that a return manifold would mess up the aesthetics, it will also be coverless, with a sunpod suspended above it..
great pvc place link by the way..
