How much of a pH swing do you get at the peak between day and night?

Right now, I am at 8.28 during the day and 8.08 at night. Temps vary within 1.5 degrees.

Last time I checked, mine went from 7.8 and 79(first thing in the AM) to 8.2 and 81(after lights on a few hours).

Mine stays steady throughout the day and night. I have tried to figure out why it doesn't swing anymore, but all I can guess at is the amount of rock and sand I have per gallon...

I think your fine with that ph swing, mine is about the same.
