Advice Needed

Getting ready to put water in tank please advice whats the best sand and salt to use? My husband will have an all fish tank 90 gal. and I want to have a coral tank 25 gal. :bigsmile:

For which tank are you looking for best sand and salt and the best will be based upon one's opinion.

Sand for fish only I'd go with something a little more course, for your coral tank Aragonite would be the ticket or go bare bottom without the sand. Salt you cannot go wrong with Instant Ocean either way.

We like Reef Crystals, and instant ocean. As for the sand we used Aragonite in our reef tanks, one 55g and one 38g.

Deep sandbed especially in the FO, only use Aragonite. Reef crystals or Red Sea Coral Pro for the coral tank, Instant Ocean for the FO.
