Hi all,

My name is Harold, and my wife (Kim) and I have jumped head first into this incredible hobby. We have been at it for almost 4 months now and have had so much fun with it, until now.

I think, by all I have read that my fish have contracted velvet. They have white dusty looking spots and are trying to scrape themselves on the sand or rock. They are eating well and are active.

My biggest problem is I do not own a quarantine tank, and I have lots of coral that limits me to what I can treat with.

Does anybody have any suggestions for me? Thanks in advance for your help.

Ok, where to start. First we need to find out why your fish are sick. Tell us about your tank in details. Size? Very important for us to know you water parameters Ammonia, Nitrates, Nitrites, Saltanity etc..... Also what kind of fish. With this info we can help you.

What kind of fish? Can you give us a full rundown of your specs and tested levels? What is your salinity? Any and all information would be appreciated!
