I am interested in 100 lbs of dry rocks. Do have any large size dry rock? Need for 110 gal tank.

What time the store will be open tomorrow? I will drive from Austin.

Do I need bring container for rocks?

I noticed the mention of dry rock on the forums almost by accident. I stopped in today to have a look, and left with a bunch of rock.

Most of the dry rock I see for sale these days is dense, heavy "bowling ball" pieces that are only useful as a base for the other rock in the tank. But those boulders don't provide much biological surface area.

The dry rock pieces that I picked up today were fabulous. Lightweight and open, and lots of interesting shapes. If they were already grown out with coraline algae, they would be pieces to drool over. The kind of pieces that I almost never find in live rock tanks.

I appreciate a LFS that will go to the trouble of bringing in something like this. I'm sure it's not as profitable as live rock, but it really will make a tank look nice.
