Found this hitchiker a few nights ago in my aquarium. At first I thought it was a nudibranch but when I accidentally hit the container, it's skin receded and a shiny shell was exposed but just for a moment and the skin then came back out and covered the shell? It is a snail, nudibranch? Is it reef safe?? Any feedback would be helpful. Last pic should show some of the shiny shell? Thanks!

looks like a tiny cowrie snail to me...I could be wrong though. I have seen much larger ones and they do have a tentacle like skin that covers their shells. Cowries eat algae but can cause problems when they get BIG because they might knock over rocks and corals.

Now that it has been solved, how do I delete the thread? Somewhat new to all this.

Just leave it, folks like the "ID" type threads.
