Looks like a copy of the Blue Life Aptaisa Control, looks the same and works the same.

That stuff does look good. It seems to cover at least 1 problem with getting rid of aptasia. It allows you to get to the aptasia before they retract. That can be difficult without some sort of attractant.
They make two claims that the video, however, does not prove.
1. It stops any living tissue from regeneration
2. The product stops larva from entering the tank (I'm not even sure Aptasia reproduce with larva)
All I know is that for months I've had an aptasia problem that I tried to control with boiling seawater injected into the anemones. I finally got a Copper Banded Butterfly fish and five peppermint shrimp and I haven't seen an anemone in more than 2 weeks - I had somewhere between 30 and 80 Aptasia in the tank at any given time.
One thing I think that the biological approach to Aptasia control has over chemical is that the shrimp and fish can get to aptasia that are out of my reach and/or too small to see. Good luck doing that by hand.

Once those biological control agents run out of aiptasia they could turn to eating coral. That's the risk.

I received a piece of liverock (25#) full of aptaisia over a year ago and here is what I tried to kill them: Inject them with boiling water (hurt them), Copperband (Ate the small ones) Nudibranches ( ate 95% 20 to 30 plus all the ones I did not see, but left 4 very large ones) I was at Texas Tropical one day and they showed me Aptasia Control by Blue Vet. Just like the video from Aptasia X they scarf it up and are dead in less than a day. I do not know who came first Aptasia X or Blue Vet but it has been over a year and I have never seen any Aptasia on this rock.

I wonder if either of these work on majano??
I have a Copperband in each tank. No aiptasia, no problems. Sadly, they will not touch the majano, though.

I've never heard of peppermint shrimp or CBB eating coral. I've not found that to be the case at all.

Peppermint shrimp will bother corals such as zoas and stuff when other food sources are not available ( I noticed this first hand ) CBB's have been know also to nip at polyps of sps and zoas, but again this varies from fish to fish. I believe as long as other food sources are made available once the aptasia are gone your corals should be fine

Aiptasia control is easy. I wish someone would invent Mushroom X.

been using aptasia control since day one. It work immediately and I never have any others pop up unless I add something new to the tank. Cheaper, and works perfect.

yeah, it'll work, but usually it takes 2 or 3 times of feeding it to them for it to melt the majanos... they seem a bit more resilient than the aiptasia

i had an aiptasia epidemic ... was out of the country with nothing in the tank but still running... aiptasia control i found was only so-so sometimes small parts of a nem were left which then regenerated, joes juice i found to be superior... i actually got rid of most of them along with all the fanworms in my rock :( with an oscellate bf which i then passed on to someone else...

I recieved my bottle the other day I fed about 3 huge aptasias they where gone maybe in less than 4 hours just melted away...
It comes in a small bottle with a syringe and liquid was a purple color.
talk two syringe worth to cover all 3 of them and saw them melted off....
I recommend this product all the way.

I got mine in too. Nailed a ton of those peskies in a matter of minutes; they seem to love the stuff, grabbing the syringe until you pull it away. The question is, will they return? So... I'm reserving judgment on the product until I see the long-term results.

That looks exactly the same as a product that has been on the market for years.I completely eradicated a few hundred Aiptasia and also Majano with a product called "JoesJuice"
http://www.joesjuice.com/
Stuff worked awesome and was fairly cheap.I used this product about 4 years ago and completely devastated a tank that was completely overun with the *******s.It is only 8.99 per bottle, you can get angled tips for it as well.

It's been a couple of weeks since I started treating the aips. The large Aiptasia were absotutely eliminated. However, the small aiptasia came back twice as many! Seems it's pretty consistent, too. Hit the little ones and they "divide" on you. I keep zapping them and they keep coming back.
Any other updates?
