RBTA vs. Maxijet Mod

Who's gonna win this one?

Yesterday, I finally got the Modded Maxijet 1200 in a spot where it doesn't kick up all the sand and leave a bare spot. Today, the RBTA decides to move. I guess it was too much flow where it was. (It was about 8 inches away horizontally and 2 inches deeper than the Maxijet.) I noticed tonight that it moved up and closer to the Maxijet. I remember thinking, "There's no way it'll get sucked up into the Maxijet." I was wrong. I guess it decided to move a little more when the lights went out about an hour ago. I just heard it get sucked up about 10 minutes ago.

I tried to free it, but it seems to be stuck in the slots. I can't push it through to the inside and then out. And, I can't push it back out from the inside, either. Obviously, I turned the Maxijet off when I heard it so that I could try to free it. I decided to let it go overnight and see if it'll free itself.

If not, what should I do?

I just looked at it again. It looks like I might be able to cut it right through the mouth and clone it that way. I know I've read that others have done that purposely. This would be an "Emergency Cloning" so don't call the Bubble Tip Police on me.

my carpet has gotten stuck twice first time he came out all byhimseld but the second he couldnt get out all the way cut small piece off n no problem. just wait till morning is what i would do.

I have seen one ripped in half by accident and and the half that I have turned out fine.

I got it out this morning. It has turned pretty white except for a small area on the outside. And, it's really shrunk up a lot. I can still see some green and reddish, though. Hopefully, it will be okay.

It was trying to hold on to the Maxijet, though. I guess that's a good sign.

Yeah as long as that foot is healthy and keeps it's grip it should be ok. It sounds really stressed out right now. Good luck!

Maxijet is going to stay.

The RBTA has disappeared. I put it on a rock away from the flow of the Maxijet. It had color on one side, but the other was turning white and kind of disintegrating. Now, I can't find it in the tank. I'm thinking it will show up sometime after it's recovered a bit.

This anemone is the one who survived that attack of the GSM's! He's a tough one!
