What size bit do I need to fit a bulkhead for 1.5 inch PVC??

Here's where i'll be ordering from.

http://www.shopsmartxpress.com/AmeriGls/AmrDefault.htm?M9.htm

I assume it's either the 2.5 or 2.25.

I buy mine from ebay. Can't send yo a link because NISD doesn't allow me access to their site from school. Paid 12.00 for drill bit I get about 12 holes per drill.

2-3/8" is what you would need....that place you listed is pretty steep $$$... for the drill bits you mentioned... $59.95 or $56.95 respectively

I know of a couple of folks who ordered from him from a forum in KC....I think he sells the bulkheads also....just giving you options....$12.99 for the bit

Wow, I was about to get ripped off. Thad ziegler here in town wanted like 120 or something for the same bit.

I was told that place is expensive all the way around (Ziegler), online is definitely the way to go....

Yeah, order the drill bits online. As far as what size hole you would need, it should be listed on the description of the bulkhead info where you purchased it from. Depending on the type and brand of bulkhead, the actual hole size needed will vary slightly. Don't simply go by what someone else or some other manufacturer states. I did that once and after drilling holes in a tank I found out the bulkheads wouldn't fit.

Bet that just made your day! CapTexas is right! Definitely get your drill hole specs from the bulkhead info or measure the insert end yourself.
