Okay i know what your thinking...Red bugs....But im not sure....so ill start from the beginning.

I run a 58 Gal SpS tank...got a few...
Water is good...

Cal 450ish
alk 8 ish
mag 1300 ish
phos 0
no2 0
no3 0

So here goes....I added a Fuge 2 weeks ago, and was so happy. I found a local guy that had some Greens and a rock with lots of pods. and a worm or two. I added them to the Fuge and thought i was good to go. The next day i saw something on the Grape stuff...And im mostly sure it was flat worms....yuck....so i pulled out the grape stuff and did a fresh water dip and put it back in....and since then i havent seen anymore of them.....But thats not my problem.. I have one sps coral that looks to be STNing on me..i saw one small white spot and thought ...that cant be good...but being that something might have touched it, i decided to give it a few days and see what happens....
I have never had a coral STN or RTN on me...so i didnt know how fast or slow it happens...
so its been 4 days and its getting worse...so this is what i did...i took it out of the tank and started fraging it....now i dont have big corals so i got a bowl and dropped the frags in it while i got a plug rock rdy for them....after putting them on the new rock i took a look in the bowl....

this is where i need some help guys...

What i saw inside the bowl??.....Okay..i know red bugs are red....I had them once before about 4 yrs ago in a different tank....so i used interceptor and prob solved...
and they are crazy small....size of a needle point.....and move slow...right??

What i saw in the bowl were two different things....One....looked like a Black bugs...and bigger....about the size of a pencil point...and a fast mover...
Two.....a big pod....or what i think is a pod.....Im so lost right now...

1 So anyone know something that is black, small and fast and might eat an acro....and what to do?

2 can yall post pics or links of good and bad bugs in a reeftank...

3 Can red bugs take out a coral in a week???.....

4 where can i get some interceptor??

I have way to much money in sps to take any chances....so if yall could help a guy out...that would be great.....i think im going to interceptor the tank just in case...

ps...everything else in the tank looks good except my 3 torts.(ORA, Blue green, and Oregon)...they just dont have their polyps out..

Any ideas.....thanks..

http://www.wetwebmedia.com/crustfaqs2.htm

Once on that page press F3 and type "black bugs", hit enter and see if that is the one... you may have to scroll down a bit. It's about 3/4 of the way down.

Any vet will have Interceptor but you generally need a dog to get a perscription. I would call the local vet and just tell them your situation. You could always print out the many articles on this and bring it in. I bet if you find the right vet, they will sell you some.
