Im selling my Octopus Dual Hang-on-Back Protein Skimmer HB-300 rated for 150 gallons. Bought during christmas but am selling because its to big for my sump. Bought it for 159.99 and will take 80obo for it. Will have off tank by friday.

is it noisy do you know...ive avoided hobs cos of the noise but it may meet my needs :)

no it wasn't loud. I wish it would have fit cause it was a beast of a skimmer. I had it in a 20 high that only left 6-8inch between the top of the 20 to the bottom of my stand. When I get it off ide be more then willing to let anyone make sure it will fit there setup :)

my sumps about 16" high, in a 24" high cabinet but access is quite good in the cabinet... so 8" clearance, that octo is about 18" high i think...hmm... how much space do you need clearance to clean the skimmer?

I'm in Iraq, but I'm getting my tank drilled soon, and I'd like to start using my sump again.
My sump is a 100g tank with plenty of room on top.

thanks guys, if i had it on the end of the fuge and tilted it to get the cup off is that possible or would i have skim everywhere...

i dont think so but, you would need a pretty good gap to tilt it not to mention its going to have water in it so it wont be light
