So I was doing a water change today because my new Devils Hand Leather wasn't looking healthy, and I found my salinity at .0175. I am not sure why it was that low, and I had no other sign of problems in the tank. My huge finger leather is thrivinig., as well as all my other types of coral. I guess my questions is, in bringing my salinity back up, do I do it gradually, or do I just get it where I have kept it in the past? Currently I brought it right up to the bottom of acceptable .021, but previously I have kept it at .024-.026.
Oh, I haven't checked salinity in about 3 months. I usually only check it on the water going into the tank. Probably not a good idea.
Second question: I swallowed about half a shot of mixed saltwater. Am I going to die? j/k I have swallowed a ton of this stuff.
