I had a problem like that and used locline with a y fitting. That way you can adjust it and it takes some of the flow coming out from one and splits it.

hope this helps! This is 3/4 inch and I need 1/2 and will have to redo my return! Anyway, this is just a pic of the locline with the y fitting.

Jeremy from B&B has it. Sometimes in stock, if not, he can order it and is usually MUCH better than other peoples prices.

The piece that is showing is a few pieces put together. It locks into each other (hence the name) so you can adjust the sizes. You have 6 inches of locline which I took apart in half, the y fitting in the middle and the 2 tapered pieces where the water flows out of. The locline is adjustable too, so if that "U" shape isn't giving you a good spray, you just bend the lines as needed.

no problem, and yes he does. Like I said, if he doesn't have it in, he can get it.

Another consideration... you could 'T' off the main line and use a ball-value on the 2 line to regulate flow, by opening the value to re-cycle the water back to the sump. This would be a great idea to have the extra line, if you were planning to add a Chiller or CA reactor using one return pump. The 'T', 'Ball-valve', and tubing can all be purchased at Home Depot or Lowes.
