exif is just the data stored in a digital picture that tell what camera used, when the pic was taken, zoom, flash, etc . . .

here is the exif data on the 1st pic:

Camera Make: NIKON CORPORATION
Camera Model: NIKON D40X
Image Date: 2008:03:18 14:44:20
Flash Used: No
Focal Length: 55.0mm (35mm equivalent: 82mm)
Exposure Time: 0.017 s (1/60)
Aperture: f/8.0
ISO equiv: 180
White Balance: Auto
Metering Mode: Matrix

BTW, I am assuming you had to save the pic, as you can't just get a summary tab from right clicking the pic itself as posted? Hmm, maybe I'm not as noobish as I thought! :p

you either have to save it and view the properties or have a plugin in your browser that will show the exif

i use fxif (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/5673) for firefox
