i think you are right Jeff

I'm pretty sure they are not red bugs. That darker park of the coral is a bit browned due to shading. I believe wha you are looking at are the browned polyps. I will post another pic of it in a few minutes. LMK what you think.

If it is Andy its by far not the end of the world. The vet right up the road from you will sell you interceptor by the pill not the box. Cheap.... he already knows what reefers use it for so you won't have to have a prescription.

Good to know. Perhaps it is red bugs, but I just inspected the Valida up close and did not see anything. I can see in the picture what gives that impression.

A few months ago "Eagle eye Garrett" came to see my tank and spotted red bugs.
I have interceptor if you need.
I had to buy a 6 pack from my vet so have plenty of extra.
I'm in NW Austin (Milwood)
