found this and thought it was pretty cool, think it might replace the hob filter thats on my 20l right now

do you have a skimmer?
if not that money would be better suited on one

i dont have a skimmer i just change out four gallons of water every week and as far as surface skimmers i have the attachment that goes on the hob ones

id find a used cpr bakpak for @ $20 more than that filter

i have a cpr bakpak but i get too many bubbles no matter how much i adjust it and then only reason i wanted this is fo rthe surface skimmer and because i think it would look better than the HOB filter i have there right now

thats a pretty cool little surface skimmer if you don't have an overflow into a sump. the only thing it will do is help reduce some of that thin film that builds up on the surface of your water and add some circulation in your tank. if you don't have that problem then don't waste your $$$.

yeah thats wat i wanted it for and becuz i hate my hob filter, but i was thinking it should be pretty easy to make someting like this though
