Are the pumps submersible or are they powerheads?

To be honest, I have no idea if they're submersible or not. here's a pic from when I bought the setup. The sump has been replaced, but I'm using the same pumps and skimmer. I know they work because I'm using them, but I bought them used and I have no idea how old they are.

I'll sell you both pumps and the urchin for $85.
