i havent had much luck with corals so im going to do fish only for a while untill i think im ready.for now all i have is a pair of false percs and a lawnmower blenny in my 55g.what else should i put in there?

do you want more community fish/ or aggressive? also do you have a wet/dry or sump/refugium? skimmer? UV?

UV yes no to the rest i just have one of those waterfall filters and the UV steralizer (this being the reason i havent had any luck with corals lately)

and i dont really know yet im thinking maybe community becuase ive already got 3 non aggresive fish

What type of corals have you tried? I have found over the years corals are easier than fish to grow. As you add more fish if you do not have any corals to soak up the waste you will have a problem with unwanted algaes. On a 55 gallon I am guessing you have at least 220 watts of CF,s?

nope just upgraded tank from 20g and im waiting till next paycheck to upgrade lighting

ive had mushrooms,GSP,and some xenia and they all died :(

those are VERY hardy... more so than some fish. lets try to figure out why they died before you add anything else.

what are your basic water parameters?

temp (day & night) -
pH (morning & evening) -
SG -
Ammonia -
Nitrite -
Nitrate -

others that will help
Alkalinity -
Calcium -
