coral questions?

my green brain is doing fine wit only dosing it looks fine but ive heard u can feed other stuff, wat else can i feed? and is it just a matter of leaving the piece of food on top of its mouth to eat it?? also my frog spawn recently split after about a month of beeing in my tank will it come off the branch thats its on or while it just stay and grow there next to the ohter one? sorry for the bad typing i have a broken pinky lol

I don't feed my open brain directly, but usually some food will fall in it and the tentacles will begin to come out and mov it closer to the mouths. You can feed them directly small pieces of shrimp and cyclopeeze (what I feed my zoas) On the frgspawn is the polyp branching off or hanging off?? If it is hanging on by the flesh and not the stony part then you are experiencing polyp bailout. This usaually occurs when the coral is irritated. If the coral is splitting a new mouth will form a new skeleton that is attached to the main body.

about the frogspawn i got it and it only had one mouth on it, from wat ive seen when it closes now it is split in the middle and has two mouths now
