Pipe to hose ??

I want to run a hose from my pump to a T. I got these hose barb-thread connectors from lowes. The thread does not fit the pvs threading.

So, what do I need to buy to do this? Thanks, Jill

a female adapter that fits the barb size on the threaded end and fits your PVC on the slip in

Jill, call me fool... There are 3 different types they sell at lowes.. There are 2 white ones and one gray one.. One of the white is the wrong thread pitch and will not work.. I use the gray as they are cheaper and more to choose from.. What size you need? I might have one laying around.

Need to make sure you buy fittings marked NPT, or National Pipe Thread. There are fine thread fittings as well and they won't work.
