Found this while looking at my tank tonight, they appear to be tentacles or somethign. Each is about 2" long and comeing from one central point. What is it?

i k now i have some hitchhiker starfish that have those wierd looking tentacles or they may be spagetti worms lol

Looks like a Spaghetti worm, i had a bunch of those pest in my tank i yoused a screw driver to smash all there shells and pull them out my clowns love the little worm inside to eat

spaghetti worms are a treat in some peoples tanks. I know people who are actually looking for them as they come out and eat whatever the fish don't. A lot of people are quick to kill, then let stuff act as in would in nature

I would leave it alone, but that is me.. I am by no means telling you to leave it in your tank, I don't want to accept the responsibility.

They can irritate zoas and paly's if they get out of control, but generally aren't a big deal. My wrasses keep mine in check.
