My wife and I were watching "Night at the Museum" last night when we heard a noise at the tank. At first I didn't see anything, then when we heard it again, I saw it flopping around on the floor. My pink spotted goby musta got chased out the tank. I scooped him up and through him back in and is doing great back in his cave!!

I can ONLY pray that my hawkfish jump out, I've been trying various methods (some not so normal) for the past year or more. That was my wife's first thought, "what if that is the hawkfish" but no luck.

Do you run a sump or fuge in your system? If you do, you can try catching your fish and place them in the sump. If that pesky fish is last at the dinner table, he will eventually be the last one in the display tank....and hopefully make it easier to catch him in a food trap.

Now that might take a while since I have loads of hermits he likes, but when I get my 90g sump/fuge up it would be a little more doable then the 30g rubbermaid i'm currently using. But thta is definately an option. Ooops no it won't be necessary since before I can use the 90g sump I have to tear-down the tank and replace the stand. It sure will be funny watching him squirm in the bottom inch of water LOL
