My girlfriend and I noticed this snail in her tank earlier, crawling over some of the rock. It's hard to tell the scale from the photo, but it was about 3-4mm in length.
Any idea what it is? Is it something to be worried about?

It's a Collonista Snail. They multiply fast and stay very small. They are benefitial aglae grazers. I have them in my tanks. -David

If you can get one on the glass, look at the color of its foot, if its white-ish, its probably ok, if its red or pink-ish, chances are its not so ok.
