I swear there should be a section for newbies so we wouldn't feel so bad for posting our stupid questions...

But oh well,

I heard that using a regular sponge found in the kitchen on the inside of the glass would cause the glass to look cloudy over time due to the sponge's abbrasive nature, so I was wondering if you guys had any methods that you like or products that you might suggest.

Thanks again

They also make an ez blade attachment for them that I highly recommend...

I'm partial to a long handled scraper/scrubber.

I use a mag float and then pull out the scraper to get the tough stuff every once in awhile. I usually like to give the tank a good scraping right before I do a water change.

Magfloat. Cheap and easy, the best things in life always are.

The magfloats with the EZ blade attachment is by far the best thing for cleaning the inside. This thing cuts through coralline like a hot knife through butter!!!!

whatever u do do not use a kitchen sponge even a new one they come with anti mildew product in them n they will kill the whole tank in a matter of hours. n i must admit i am victim of this horrible mistake, but i was using a new one to clean the salt creep off n found out the hard way.
