Great pics! The first wrasse looks like a Halichoeres melanurus

not a Halichoeres ornatissimus

The ornatissimus is the Christmas wrasse. The malenurus is often called a Hoeven's wrasse. Either way both are gorgeous fish!

Yep definatley not a Xmas wrasse. I have one in my 210g and yours is much closer to the Melanurus Christina posted. Beautiful wrasses you have none less. Wrasses are my favorite species.

Thanks for the info. #$#&*^ LFS. Oh well, I like the common name better, Orange-tipped Rainbowfish. More research....

Im not sure how much orange tipped will come up, Ive never heard it called that (except in the pic above). Ive always heard it referred to as melanurus or Hoeven's wrasse. HTHs

That is one tweaked fish.
Nice addition. I do not believe I have seen that wrasse before. Time to read up on it.

Thanks, it's aka blue line or chain-lined wrasse. Delagado had the first one I saw. I've been waiting three years for one to show up. There's two more at the Dome.
I was quite excited to get the shot of the gramma in full display. Tweaked to say the least!
