Even though my tank tests 0 for phosphates, I'm wondering if it might be the cause for some cyano problems lately. I have plenty of flow and my lighting is not that old. I also don't feed very much. So I'm guessing it's either phosphates or I need a bigger skimmer. I'm looking to try a phosphate reactor and see if that helps any.

Bags are not as efficient and I would prefer to have the small reactor as I don't have a good place to set bags in my sump.

David - how big is it? Does it have all the fittings? I was just looking at ordering one online as they are "on sale" and order some media as well.

Chris,

The one I got from Ace is a little bigger than the TLF or Kent unit. Much sturdier also.
