Reactor Media Question

Question:

Those of you that add Dolomite or ZeoMag to your Calcium reactor,

do you mix it with the Ca media or just toss it on top??

I just leave it on top, that way you can see how much is left and how fast it's getting dosed. I sometimes have some left over after all the other media has been depleted. I just rinse off the zeomag and reuse.
