What's good size for a mantis tank? I've got a 10g tank I'm getting ready, but I don't know if this is big enough or not? What about for sea horses?

As long as its the only critter in the tank and you do your water changes regularly, it should be ok. Mantis' can be pretty messy eaters, regular water changes are an absolute must.

a 10 gallon would be suitable for some of the smaller varieties that show up with live rock( like cilliata, or wennerae), but far from big enough for a peacock mantis. a 10G would be out of the question for any seahorses other than possibly dwarfs.
