Help with 240 canopy

For those of you out there with large tanks I would like to see what you have for canopies. It's time for me to build my 96" canopy that will house 3 lumenarcs and want to do it right the first time. Also if any of you have any ideas I would like to here what you have. I have about two weeks to get this done. Thanks

Go with gas springs off of ebay to hold it open when you raise it. See my build thread (lhoy's 225 Tank) with ideas on how to do a light rack for MH pendants where the lights will point down when the lid is open.

Paint the inside with Kilz to protect the wood from water, etc.
